You would probably need at least 100,000yen per month besides the school tuition.

Is it possible to get a part-time job?

To get a part-time job, you must get the permission from the Immigration Bureau. If it is within the 4-hour limit, working part time is permitted. However, we do not encourage our students to work until they have gotten used to living in Japan, and have acquired adequate Japanese ability. You must not let the part-time job disturb your study.

Will I be able to make Japanese friends?

We also offer Japanese teacher training courses and Korean language courses for Japanese students and other nationalities. As a result we have a number of Japanese students who you will be able to meet at the school. You will have many opportunities to make Japanese friends. We think that we would like to make some opportunities for you not only Japanese language but also it's customs and culture.

What happens if I get sick in Japan?

Please join the National Health Insurance at the time of enrollment. In case of an illness (with the exception of some diseases), 70% of your medical cost will be covered. ARC Academy is assured by the International Student Health Insurance, so the remaining 30% will be covered by our school.

What is the environment surrounding the school like?

ARC Academy at both school is located at a convenient spot near the station. You will always be able to capture the modern Japanese trends and cultures. At the start of the semester, we offer new students Shibuya and Shinjuku tours for them to get acquainted with the area surrounding the school.

At ARC Academy, we give full support for university entrance exams. Students are provided with seminars, counseling, adequate information, study room, and specialized courses, as well as teachers and staffs who will thrive their fullest for the students to succeed in their admissions.

What types of events are provided?

As well as an opening and a closing ceremony, we also have cultural trips every 3 months which have been very popular past years. We have visited such as Nikko, Asakusa, Kabuki theatre and Takao mountains. Also, Shinjuku-nishi school and Shibuya schools held a joined speech contest.
