What kind of visa can I get at full time students courses?

What is the duration period of Pre-College visa?

Basically 1 year.

Can I get the visa at school?

We get you an authorization of resident eligibility for applying for a visa. You bring it to the Japanese Embassy or the Consulate at your country and apply for a visa on your own.

Can I apply for it at any time.

Application period is for one month, 6 months prior to entering the school. But it’s case by case. Please confirm the school about it.

Do I need a Japanese guardian?

Not necessarily. In some cases a proxy (any nationality) is necessary.

How much do I have to have my bank balance?

You must have at least all tuition of period attending school and expenses of living.

Can I proceed to higher education after finishing the course?

If you have completed 12 years of education at your country, you can proceed to higher education after finishing the student visa course.

I haven’t finished 12 years of education. Can I study in Japan?

You need to have finished high-school (12 years of education) in principle.

Are copied documents available for application?

The original copy must be turned in. If you want all documents back, we will return them after approval.

When should the documents for application be issued?

Certifications must be issued within three months, and a bank balance certificate must be within one month.

do I have to pay admission charge and tuition when I apply for the course?

No. Please pay these after issuing an authorization of resident eligibility from Immigration Bureau. This will be approximately one month before starting a course.
