ARC Academy - Japanese Language School

In this course students will study the Japanese necessary for daily communication.
In class, students will learn “things necessary for easy living” and “useful information to know” while living in Japan. Through mutual comprehension of cultural difference daily information such as, cultural events, self-introductions, and business manners and rules will be learned in an enjoyable manner.
Classes begin at a comfortable 10:00 in the morning. Applicants who desire to learn Japanese while continuing things like household activities and raising children are encouraged to apply.
For the purpose of learning basic grammar and characters as well as focusing intensively and systematically on pronunciation our beginning level courses are two hour long, five days a week and last a half a year. In these courses students strengthen their command of the Japanese basics.
For those students who can communicate in Japanese but who cannot use honorific Japanese or express exactly what they wish to say, or cannot talk to elders or have difficulty in reading and writing Japanese sentences, these can further improve their Japanese in our two hour, three times a week, three month long course.

Outline

For those who wish to have troubles with Japanese language when travelling around Japan.
For those who wish to manage daily situations in Japanese, such as ordering at a Japanese restaurant, buying some Japanese souvenirs, getting around by train.
Travel situations will be set up in the class and you will acquire various expressions which will help you get along well in Japan.
For those who need accommodation, we offer “Homestay plan”, which includes classes and Homestay as well.

Business Japanese class is for cultivating bridging human resources that connect Japan and the students’ country through business and helping the students find a job in Japan.
By improving your understanding of Japanese society and companies, you will acquire Japanese ability and business manner enough to conduct business smoothly.
In the July term, the class is designed to study practical Japanese including writing resume and interview practice which is helpful for job hunting and for an employment test.
Our Employment Support Section will help you find a job in Japan by giving job opportunities information and preparation training for the employment test.

The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is one of the most effective qualifications for non-native Japanese speakers to prove Japanese language ability when searching for a job and entering higher education.
This test will be revised from 2010 and have more contents that measure communication ability.
To-the-point preparation for the new test is the key to pass the test. Our well planned and efficient curriculum will help you achieve success in December, 2010.
