Course Overview

This is a course to get communication skills for students who want to persue higher study in Japanese graduate schools, universities and vocational schools, and also those who want to get a job in Japan.
The goal of courses is to build enough Japanese skill of students for their academic study.

Class Your class will be decided by the result of the level check test.
Your overall grade of the term will decide your class for the following term.
part-time jobs Students may work part-time after receiving "Permission of activity outside scope"
Working for four hours a day is admitted.
However, working at adult-entertainment business and related jobs are strictly prohibited.

Attainment Target

(Approximately 100-150 Kanji)		 Minimum conversation skills to live in Japan

(22 weeks)		 Equivalent to Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 3
(Approximately 300-400 Kanji)		 Students will understand basic sentence structures and be able to express opinions, write a short essay, and have a daily conversation.

(33 weeks)		 Equivalent to Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 2
(Approximately 1,000 Kanji)		 Students will be able to have daily conversations without any problem. And, they will know more vocabulary including jargon and be able to enter the vocational schools they are interested in.

(22 weeks)		 Equivalent to Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1
(Approximately 2,000 Kanji)		 Students will be able to communicate in Japanese without any problem. Also, they will have enough Japanese skills to take a university’ entry test.
