• The School prohibits students from doing part-time jobs for three months after school entry.
  • In the case that you take a part-time job, Immigration Bureau's "certificate of permission to engage in activities other than those permitted under the resident status" must be obtained. People without this permit are not allowed to do part-time jobs. The School will help you to apply for this permit for the period by the end of the first term.
  • You must carry "certificate of permission to engage in activities other than those permitted under the resident status" when you are at work.
  • Par-time jobs are allowed up to 4 hours per day. Even if you have obtained a certificate of permission to engage in activities other than those permitted under the resident status, working in adult service or any related businesses are still prohibited. Students are not allowed to work in this kind of place regardless of the types of the job. Jobs such as dish washing and handing out of pamphlets for this kind of business are also prohibited.
  • Documents required in order to apply for certificate of permission to engage in activities other than those permitted include alien registration card and passport (either one of them can be a copy).
  • When you actually start the part-time job, please submit the "certificate of permission to engage in activities other than those permitted" and "part-time job situation notification".
  • Offering help to friends and acquaintances also count as a part-time job.
  • Salary of part-time jobs should be transferred into your bank account instead of hand delivery.
  • Minimum wage in Tokyo area is 708 Yen (per hour). If you receive a wage lower than this rate, or you do not receive the salary, or if you are hurt in your part-time job but your hospital fee is not paid for, please come to consult with us.
  • In the case that you do not follow the rules, you will be punished according to the law. Please be careful.
